Volunteers will help give the international sailing crews and visitors a warm Aberdeen welcome and make the Tall Ships Races a huge success!
- No previous experience is required!
- You must be aged 16 or older by 1 July 2025.
- Available for approximately three shifts between 19 and 22 July.
- Applications will open later this year.
- Successful applicants matched to volunteer roles by April 2025.
- Volunteer shift schedules and essential training will be shared May and June 2025.

CHIEF LIAISON OFFICER
Aberdeen is getting ready to welcome back the exhilarating Tall Ships Races once again in 2025, and we are thrilled to announce an exciting volunteer vacancy for the role of Chief Liaison Officer (CLO).
The CLO is responsible for training, managing, and coordinating the team of 80-100 Volunteer Liaison Officers, with full responsibility for the smooth running of the event for the vessels and all crew members during their visit to Aberdeen.
We are looking for someone who has attention to detail, transforms good planning into great activity, stays calm in challenging or unexpected situations, and most importantly is a great leader, communicator and motivator.
